How it works
Your week,on a fixed rhythm.
Pavilion knows what a cricket club’s week looks like. Each post has a day it drafts and a day it is about, and you set both once in Plan my week. After that the week turns up in the queue by itself.
Thursday
Fixtures
Every side that is out on Saturday, with the ground and the start time. A day with one fixture posts the team sheet alone.

Friday
Team sheets
The XI, ticked by the captain from a link to your squad, with no app and no login. Or tick it yourself.

Weekend
Results
Every result with the scores, the top performers and the live league table, and a full scorecard slide for each side.

Monday
League tables
Where every side stands, with the promotion and relegation places marked.

Tuesday
Player of the week
Your captains get a link on Saturday night and tap their pick. No app, no login. The card builds from it.

Month end
Top performers
The month’s and the season’s leading run scorers and wicket takers, added up from your own scorecards.

Sunday cricket
Sunday cricket gets its own post. Pavilion fetches whoever is playing on the day, so a week with no Sunday fixtures posts nothing, and a cup tie or a Ladies’ match turns up when it happens.
Who does what
It drafts.You decide.
What it does by itself
- Reads Play-Cricket on the days you set, and only then
- Draws every post in your crest, colours and sponsors
- Writes the caption from what actually happened
- Emails your admins when something is waiting
- Refreshes your stats site every week
What a person does
- Reads each post and approves it, from a laptop or a phone
- Picks Post now, or a time to post later
- Sends each captain the link to tick their XI, or ticks it for them
- Writes anything no job drafts: nets, the AGM, a thank you
- Checks what was read from a scorebook against the page
From your phone
Read it.Post it.
Every post waits in the queue until somebody has read it: every slide at full size, and the caption. Post now, or set a time and leave it. Plan my week decides what drafts when.
Nothing goes out unread.
A post waits for a person, unless you have told that post to send itself.
Nothing goes out twice.
Two taps, or two people approving at once, still post it once.
Not on Instagram yet?
Every post can be saved to your phone, slides in order with the caption, and posted by hand.

How it fits together
One record.Three ways out.
Everything Pavilion does comes from one place: your club’s record. Play-Cricket fills it, your scorebooks fill the years before Play-Cricket, and anything else can be typed in. Then it goes out three ways.
Play-Cricket
Read only, through your club’s own key. Every season it holds.
The scorebooks
Photographed: a page, a folder or a whole book.
What you type
A fixture, a team sheet or a scorecard nobody kept anywhere else.
One place
Your club’s record
Every fixture, scorecard and player, from the first season you have to last Saturday.
Safe by design
Your club’s datastays your club’s.
Read only.
Pavilion reads Play-Cricket through your club’s own key and never writes to it.
Nothing unread.
No post goes out until a person has looked at it, unless you have said otherwise.
Yours to take.
The whole record downloads as spreadsheets, on every plan. The book photos are kept for good.
Anybody left off.
Leave any player off the stats site, at once, everywhere. Nothing is published until you switch it on.
