Club history

Every match.Every player.Since the first book.

Play-Cricket holds your club’s recent seasons. The scorebooks in the cupboard hold the rest. Pavilion brings both into one record: every fixture, every scorecard and every player, checked against where it came from, added up into careers and statistics, and yours to keep.

Play-Cricket, all of it

Every seasonit holds.

Every match your club’s sides have on Play-Cricket is brought in once: scorecards, results and fixtures, back to the first season it holds, one request at a time through your club’s own key. The coverage grid shows what you have, season by season and side by side, and what is missing.

The coverage grid: every season down, every side across, filled by what each holds

The books

Photographed.Read. Checked.

Add a page, a folder of photos, a ZIP or a whole book. Pavilion reads what the scorer wrote and suggests where each match starts. On the book screen the page sits beside what was read: tap any figure and its box lights up on the photograph. The book’s own sums are checked too, so a total that does not add up says so.

  • Batting, bowling, extras, the fall of wickets
  • A blank total added up from the card, and marked as added
  • Every correction kept with what was read

One record

Two sources.One match.

The same match from a scorer’s book and from Play-Cricket is offered as one, with the evidence. Where they disagree, both are shown side by side and a person settles it, with the reason kept. Nothing is joined or changed by itself.

People

“J Keeling” isJosh Keeling.

The book’s “J Keeling” and Play-Cricket’s Josh Keeling are offered as one person, with the evidence: the side, the seasons, the name. A person says yes, and any merge can be undone. Two names in one match are never one person.

People: everybody who has played, and the names that might be the same person

Careers and statistics

Every career,added up.

Every player’s page: matches, runs, wickets, catches, seasons and sides, season by season and against every club, and who they played with. The club’s statistics under any filter: seasons, sides, league, cup or friendly. Not recorded is never nought.

The handbook check

What the clubprinted, beside it.

Put a player’s figures as the club handbook printed them beside what the record adds up to, and the gap is the seasons nobody has added yet. The coverage grid shows which.
